ABOUT SAAM

In Bar Bistro Saam we pay tribute to the Maas, the river that connects and mirrors our city. It is the origin of everything that Maastricht has to offer, from the typical materials we use in our interiors to the tasty ingredients of our dishes. From sunrise to sunset you are welcome to meet and relax in Saam, while we indulge you with all the beauty that the Maas produces.

You can find Saam in the MECC Maastricht complex, on the Forum square in Randwyck. Our restaurant is accessible both directly from the street and from the MECC. Parking is possible in P4.

MENU

Bar Bistro Saam is open all day from Monday to Friday for lunch, drinks and dinner. We use something from the region in practically every dish on our menu: from the meatloaf from Saveurs to Limburg goat cheese, from the fries from Pommes Limburg to vegetables from d’r Moostuin. Sometimes familiar, sometimes surprising, but always traceable to the primeval source of our city: the Maas.

Are you visiting us for a drink? We have an extensive drinks menu. We serve a wide selection of wines, including the best wines of the Apostelhoeve. We also serve coffee from Blanche Dael, probably the best coffee in the world.

Would you like to enjoy the best of Maastricht, but you don’t have the time to stay with us? Our deli is open daily for you! Here you can get food and drinks for at home or on the go.

EVENTS

Within Bar Bistro Saam, we have two rooms for events. First of all, we have the Private Dining, a separate room on the floor above the restaurant. The Private Dining is ideal for exclusive events, such as business meetings, presentations and dinners. There is room for about 40 people.

Next to that we also have the Event Space, a part of the restaurant that we can close off for groups. The space has a large bar and is therefore suitable for informal meetings, such as parties and receptions. The Event Space offers space for groups of up to 50 people. If the weather conditions allow it, it is also possible to include a part of our terrace.

BUSINESS HOURS

Bar Bistro is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 10 pm, the kitchen closes at 9 pm. Weekend opening for events, parties and celebrations are possible in consultation.
